for those of you who don't know, i applied to be an ra at my university for next year. however, it seems i am not meant to live alone and will continue to be just you're run-of-the-mill resident. am sad but it will be fine. spring break has begun which will make everything better. and maybe i'll actually upload something. anyway, classes are going well and if you have any other questions about life at the moment ask away. so my brief little update! thank you for reading.

i plan to upload things from both typography and photography soon. i actually have a couple of photos i think i'll put up and will d that soon.

general life note:
life is for the most part good. there are still frustrations that have not ended but it will work out. and katsucon is in just a couple short weeks! i'm so excited to see ! i miss her and everyone from home so much.

on a school note:
i am now in the fourth week of classes and enjoying it for the most part. typography is so far easier than i expected–and results in assignments such as the two i uploaded. music fundamentals so far is review but that's what i get. art history 2 is great. i have the same professor from last year and oh the hilarious oddity that ensues. photography gives me an excuse to call my dad to have discussions about what im learning and laughing at my professor's opinions and lectures. human growth and development is so interesting. i love it. concepts of lifetime fitness i'll just be glad to be done with.

it's been a while since i updated my journal and i've been bad about all semester so i'll so a year in review.

this year started out well but the last half i'm honestly surprised i survived. but through talking to my roommate and mom, many many tears, lots of tetris, music, more tears, laughter and determination i succeed in making it through a semester that truly tested me in basically every way. i got my first two c's of college but i still have a 3.15 gpa! yay! and i've learned a lot...i think. at the very least i can now go into a gothic church and understand the structure and history of it. thank you, art history 1!

all in all, this coming year will be tough but i will make it. i know i will. i will work hard, exercise and figure things out.

i haven't really made any new year's resolutions yet but i will.

so i'm sorry to everyone for being so inactive this semester. i've just been so swamped with work. however, i hope to put a few things up this week during my off time b/w finals! yeah the semesters is almost over!!!! and i'll be home on the 14th!!! yay!

anyway, just want to let ya'll know that i'm alive and will be home soon.

i know i haven't done a journal in a while but that's b/c i suck at journal writing.

so anywho, all is going fairly well. i just got done with midtrerms today. gd club is going well and they haven't overthrown me yet. the musical is going well but not without stresses. i'm dealing with the difficulties of trying to go back to being best friends with someone you just stopped dating. friends are all good even though a lot of them–such as my roommate–have been sick but are getting better. classes are rough but when are college classes not? all is going well. it's difficult and i am forced to live one day at a time. but fall break starts saturday so......YAY!....i think that's it.
